Re-Introduction of Jessica Espinal
Hello! My name is Jessica Espinal, and I am a tenth-grade student at Fort Lauderdale High School. Though you already know all of this from my first introduction. I could copy and paste the last one, which would still give me an A, but I think I have more to say about myself! So far, AICE Media Studies has been one of my favorite classes. The work has been so light, yet in everything I do, I learn so much! Recently, I just learned how to edit, and now I'm looking forward to trying all types of new things for this music video project. Specifically, getting to pick a song and film visuals too. Speaking of music, I've been listening to a lot of new things as of late. Last introduction post I mentioned my love for music, and there are some new favorites of mine. Rock has been a new entry. there's a band I love called Polyphia, who collab with artists and fuse the sounds of rock and pop together, which has had quite a hold on my Spotify stats. Japanese pop has been on repeat too, with melancholic artists like Fujii Kaze and Seulgi. I can't talk about music without talking about Taylor Swift, whose new album, Midnights, has been nothing but fantastic. Right now all I'm thinking about is the bloodbath that will be purchasing tickets for her upcoming tour a few days from now!
What's more, I have finally gotten over my month-long reading slump, and have been breezing through books like nothing. The graphic novels I've read, Saga and Heartstopper, were incredible, and novels like Matinee and Play as it Lays have left me with so much to think about. Past hobbies, I just focus on school. School has been great for me so far. Never have I ever felt this motivated before, I complete all my work on time and have nothing but A's. I love just going to school. I love hanging out with friends and chatting with classmates and making afterschool plans and all other things like that. There's not much else to my life, so this is where I will end it. Maybe throughout my media projects, you will learn even more about me!
